International Education

The Department of Fine Arts has two dynamic summer study abroad programs located Rome and Paris. Both of these month long programs offer unique opportunities for art students to become acquainted with two of the worlds most historically and culturally rich cities. Along with the summer programs St. John's also has intensive semester program in Rome. This four month long program allows the student the time gain a deep understanding of Italian life and culture. The course offerings for these programs range from drawing and painting to the history of art. One other unique facet of both the summer and semester Rome programs is the possibility for students with the proper language proficiency to do an internship in the studio of an Italian artist/designer. For more information on these programs see Professor Paul Fabozzi in the Department of Fine Arts.
